The Third Asian-African Congress of Mycobacteriology is interested in attracting abstracts on the following broad topics:

Abstract Guidelines

 

  • Abstract Submission Timeline

 

The deadline for abstract submission is 30st September 2020. The results of the peer review will

be announced by 01st January 2020. The submitting author will be notified by email. Subsequent correspondence will be with the presenting author(s).

 

  • Author Information

At the beginning of the abstract submission process, you will be asked to enter author information and affiliations. Please do not submit an abstract if none of the authors intend to attend the conference to present it, in the event that it is accepted. All abstracts must be submitted online. The corresponding author is responsible for the abstract content. This author is the contact person for submission and communication purposes and is also responsible for disseminating information related to the abstract to the co-authors. If accepted, your abstract will be included in the abstract book of the conference as a supplement to the International Journal of Mycobacteriology (published by Medknow).

 

  • Language of Abstract: English
  • Number of Submissions: Each author can submit two abstracts per topic.

Prepare your abstract in a word processing software such as MS Word, Word Perfect, or a text editor such as MS Write. For preparation of an abstract, please follow these format directions: The abstract text should not exceed 500 words. Authors are responsible for proofreading and submitting an abstract without errors.

 

Abstract should contain the following sections:

 

1. Title: Please ensure that the first word of your title starts with a Capital Letter. BOLD entire title.

 

2. Authors: Please indicate the presenter with an asterisk. If there is more than one author,list

the authors with last name and initial. Separate authors with a comma. Example: Nasiri

 

MJ, Hadadi M*, Derakhshani S. Important: If the presenting author is not indicated with an asterisk, the first author will be considered as the presenter and it cannot be changed in any situation.

 

3. Affiliation: Please write the affiliation of the authors as the following order e.g. ": Department (or hospital), School (or Faculty), University (or Research Institute), City, Country. Example: Department of Microbiology, School of Medicine, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran."

8. Keywords Abstract submitted in other formats will NOT be accepted (use Times New Roman 12-point font and 1" side margins).

 

 

  • Please note, the Date of Abstract submission is from 1st  June 2020 to 1st September  2020

 

 

A panel of international experts will review all submitted abstracts, and the scientific program committee will allocate accepted abstracts to an oral or poster session. Only the best abstracts are accepted for the free communication sessions and will be presented as oral presentations and poster discussions.
